SOR TOYOTA GT4
Our chosen vehicle to drive our rally desire, is a 1990 Toyota Celica GT4. It is 4wd, turbo charged with a 2ltr engine and 5 speed manual gear box. It was recently bought off 2006 Queensland Rally Champion Glenn Brinkman. The car has been a rally competitor, the bulk of its life and although 17 years old, still holds its own when push comes to shove. In comparison to its rivals, the GT4 is relatively standard with the exception of some performance parts for reliability and strength. Although the car is somewhat heavier and slower than others in the same class, our intention is to let reliability and consistency win out in the end. Time will tell in more ways than one. |
